Hyderabad: A garbage dump explosion claimed a buffalo grazing near Omkar Nagar dumping yard in Miyapur on Monday. The incident created panic in the area. Panicked at the deafening sound, the nearby slum dwellers rushed to the spot only to find a headless buffalo.
As reported by DC, the buffalo’s head was found in pieces around 500 metres away.
Clues teams and bomb squad were called. According to Miyapur inspector Harishchandra Reddy, the buffalo was suspected to have eaten a crude explosive along with the grass. The buffalo belonged to one S. Srinivas.
Though no other explosives or connecting wires were found, vital clues and other material from the spot along with remains of the buffalo were sent for forensic analysis to the laboratory.
