Kolkata, July 10: Speculation may be rife about Sourav Ganguly’s plunge into cricket administration but the former India skipper is still undecided over contesting Cricket Association of Bengal elections.
The reports had said that Ganguly may contest the elections against his erstwhile ‘mentor’ Dalmiya, but the just retired Indian ace has dismissed all such reports.
“…this is all speculation. I have not decided anything,” Ganguly’s told newsmen when asked if he wanted to contest the CAB elections.
Ganguly had expressed his desire to get into the administration leading to speculations of him eyeing the BCCI Chief’s post in 2014.
Expressing his “disappointment” about the whole episode, he said, “I just had said a simple thing that I want to come into administration’. There have been statements everyday.”
“These are all created stories, there is no truth about this. These are all stories.
