Kolkata, Aug.13 : Former Indian captain Sourav Ganguly has said skipper Virat Kohli’s passion for the game in him is evident after he scored another Test hundred as a captain against Sri Lanka in Galle on Day two.
“Three (Sydney, Adelaide,Melbourne) of his four test, hundreds have come as captain of India. So, they are fabulous signs of Virat Kohli. I love him on the field as you could see passion and the heart for the game in him. I hope he builds this team to win in all conditions,” Ganguly told media here.
The 43-year-old has got a lot of faith on him, saying one could see his hunger to win.
India- Sri Lanka series is Kohli’s first full-fledged series as a captain, while legendary batsman Kumar Sangakkara will retire from international cricket after the first two Tests of the three-match series. (ANI)
