Mumbai, June 09: Relationship between Bollywood and underworld is never a secret. But apart from scams, finance, personal meetings, bollywood actresses name have cropped up with underworld gangsters. Sometimes its romantic while sometimes it’s a distant desire.
When the 2G scam accused Batcha was found dead in his Chennai home, police discovered another name in the fraud arena ‘Abhay Gandhi’ who had an uncanny resemblance to Batcha who had committed suicide. When police raided the absconding house, they found cards printed on soft boards which said ‘Marry Deepika Padukone by July 5, 2011.’ He too had pasted a photograph as his target.
This is truly magical when a gangster fell in love with a bollywood diva. Monica Bedi only came into news after her alleged relationship with underworld don ‘Abu Salem’. Monica met Abu Salem during one of her Dubai visits. His identity was initially not known to her. It was too late when Monica came to know about the true identity of Abu Salem, they were already in love. The affair became public after their arrest and when they were taken in custody in Lisbon.
The relationship between actress Mandakini and gangster Dawood was also a controversial one. Though she made her name with Raj Kapoor films like ‘Ram Teri Ganga Maili’ .But she started grabbing the headlines in 1994 when she was associated with Dawood. Although the two were spotted together in many instances, the actress had flatly denied such claims.
Actress Twinkle Khanna’s name also came up when she was accused of attending parties organized by underworld Don Dawood Ibrahim. Twinkle’s husband Akshay Kumar flatly denied and rubbished the rumours and said that all news is untrue.
Though the underworld dons are glorification of the real life ‘bad boys’ but still they have a heart where bollywood beauties hold a special position!
