The Outer Ring Road have left people petrified due to reports of gangrape, kidnappings and accidents so much so that even a mere sight of stranger makes them reckless.

A pair of techie’s who were employees of I-Q Solutions, Madhapur spooked so much on the ORR when the three strangers approaching their car make them sped away recklessly in poor visibility conditions. The“three strangers” gave them a chase for kilometres on the expressway scared them more.

Thoroughly shaken, the two filed a verbal complaint at the RGIA police station.

Following the complaint, the assistant commissioner of police of Shamshabad and his team were put on the job to trace out the three men and their vehicle. Ultimately, after two hours of patrolling, the vehicle, as described by the complainant, was spotted at the BHEL junction.

On inspection, it is came to know that the vehicle belonged to the ORR vigilance officials employed by the Hyderabad Metropolitan development Authority.

The vigilance officials spotted the i10 parked on the ORR carriageway. Since parking on the carriageway is violiating the ORR norms, the three officials decided to approach the i10 driver to inform him to move along. The three men were not in uniform and were driving a non-departmental vehicle when the incident happened.

After a thorough checking and examination of their identity cards, the officials were asked to appear before the station. The HMDA, apart from the five patrolling cars, has formed a vigilance team to keep a check on the toll plazas and stop infringement on the expressway.
