Hyderabad: Cyber Crime Police arrested an interstate gang of three persons which was cheating the bank by getting the details of personal accounts of bank customers.
DCP of CCS informed that Kamal Kishore Bhatti of Begum Bazar, Madhusudhan Rao of Jubilee Hills and A. Murlidhar of Karkhana, Secunderabad made a complaint that some persons posing themselves as bank officials extracted the details of debit cards and OTP numbers. From Kishore Bhatti’s account, Rs. 1, 49, 997; from Madhusudhan’s account, Rs. 1, 40, 000 and from Murlidhar’s account, Rs. 1, 48, 000 were transferred online.
DCP informed that three persons, Kharudhar Mandal, a resident of Jharkhand, Lakshmi Narayan Bhuri, a resident of West Bengal and Jhangir Ansari, a resident of Jharkhand were brought to Hyderabad on a transit warrant. They were sent to judicial custody.
