Chief Whip in the Assembly Gandra Venkatramana Reddy has lambasted TDP Chief N Chandrababu Naidu for continuously criticizing the State government during his ‘Vastunna Meekosam’ padayatra.
Speaking to mediapersons here on Sunday, Gandra took serious exception to Chandrababu Naidu calling the Congress as ‘dacoits party’ and branded the TDP as the real ‘dacoits party’. He said the TDP had only resorted to laying foundation stones to hoodwink the people forgetting development and welfare of the people during its regime.
The Chief Whip said the Congress government has introduced several welfare schemes for the people. He has alleged that Chandrababu Naidu was roaming on the streets for the sake of ‘power’ after obtaining stay orders from the courts on criminal cases filed against him. He also said that the TDP and Chandrababu Naidu never bothered about the welfare of the people and development of the State. (NSS)
