Government Chief Whip Gandra Venkataramana Reddy on Thursday urged the Seemandhra leaders to desist from provoking the people of the Telangana region.
Speaking to the media here, Venkataramana Reddy said instead of provoking the people of the region, Seemandhra leaders should cooperate for bifurcation of the State. Telangana issue would be discussed at Congress Core Committee meeting in New Delhi on Friday. Stating that Rayala Telangana proposal was the brainchild of MIM, he said the Congress high command never thought of it yet. (NSS)
