Galla Jaidev, son of minister Galla Aruna, on Sunday announced that he would contest to the Lok Sabha from Guntur constituency in the ensuing general elections.
Speaking to the media here, Galla Jaidev, who is also son-in-law of veteran actor Krishna, said he would announce his decision to enter active politics by the end of this month.
Galla Aruna also assured that she would extend her full support to her son in politics. All the family members would back the decision to be taken up by Jaidev, she added. According to rumours, Jaidev is planning to join the TDP. (NSS)
