Gali’s custody extended till November 28

Hyderabad, November 15: A special court on Monday extended till November 28, the judicial custody of mining baron and former Karnataka minister Gali Janardhan Reddy and his brotherinlaw and managing director of Obulapuram Mining Company (OMC) B V Srinivas Reddy, in the illegal mining case.

The proceedings were conducted through videoconferencing from the Chanchalguda Central Prison, where the accused were lodged. This was done due to security reasons.

The special CBI court also posted the hearing of three petitions by the Income Tax department to November 16 and hearing on another petition to November 17.
