Launching a scathing attack on YSRCP president Y S Jaganmohan Reddy, TDP today said the former has no right to criticize Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu.
Speaking to media at NTR Trust Bhavan here on Monday, TDP leader Gali Muddukrishnam Naidu said Jagan’s Rytu Bharosa Yatra of Jagan was meant to protect his own party in the name of this yatra. He reminded that 14,000 farmers committed suicide during late YSR regime.
Taking a dig at Jagan, Muddukrishnama Naidu said nobody can “finish” the TDP. Even Prime Ministers Indira Gandhi, Rajiv Gandhi and Sonia Gandhi could not do that. What can YSRCP do?
AP Minister Palle Raghunath Reddy also criticized Jagan stating that the latter has fear that his party would be eliminated if the TDP government succeeded in waiving off farmers’ loans. Instead of taking out yatras for political gain, Jagan should play a constructive role as the Leader of the Opposition, he suggested. (NSS)
