New York: The Samsung Galaxy Note 8 might be announced soon as the company has already confirmed the news at a launch event called ‘Galaxy Unpacked’, scheduled to take place in New York City on August 23.
After months of revealing leaks, Samsung will finally unveil the handset next week. And it looks like the phone may be available to order soon after the keynote.
As per BGR, several reports from Korea said the Galaxy Note 8 will hit stores on September 15 in the country, after a pre-order period that might last for a couple of weeks.
The most recent report said that pre-orders will go live on September 1, although the phone will be on display in carrier stores as soon as August 25.
Korea is possibly going to include in Samsung’s first-wave countries for the launch of Galaxy Note 8, but customers in other countries also might be able to buy the phone sooner than Korean Android fans.
Trusted reviews say, in the leaked post, the one who leaked cited his source as a Best Buy mobile employee, who “confirmed through both Verizon and Samsung channels”.
“Pre-orders should start day of the announcement, next day should have stock in store,” the user told someone who asked whether there will be a pre-order system. Official pricing details were not mentioned in this leak, but the phone is already expected to cost around $1,000 unlocked.
