The name of Gajwel Nagar Panchayat has been changed as Gajwel Pragnapur Panchayat.
According to the GO issued in this regard, orders have been earlier issued constituting the areas covered under erstwhile Gajwel Gram Panchayat duly merging surrounding three Gram Panchayats i.e., Pregnapur, Mutrajpally and Kyasaram Gram Panchayats in Medak District as Gajwel Nagar Panchayat.
The Commissioner and Director of Municipal Administration, Hyderabad, based on the proposals of the District Collector, Medak and the Municipal Commissioner, Gajwel along with the Council Resolution has requested the Government for change of name of Gajwel Nagar Panchayat as Gajwel-Pragnapur Nagar Panchayat.
The Government, after careful examination of the matter, has decided to change the name of Gajwel Nagar Panchayat as Gajwel-Pragnapur Nagar Panchayat. (NSS)
