(Siasat News) Mr. N. Kiran Kumar Reddy, C.M. of A.P. announced a reward of Rs. 50 lakh for Mr. Gagan Narang, a shooter who got bronze medal in London Olympics. The C.M. invited MR. B.S. Narang, father of Gagan Narang to Secretariat and congratulated him on his son’s victory in Olympics. The C.M. said that the state is proud of him.
State Govt. had given Rs. 25 lakh to Ms. Karnam Malleshwari who had won bronze medal in 2000 Olympics games. Mr. Gagan Narang has been given Rs. 191.50 Lakh for wining in shooting competition of Asian Games 2010 and Common Wealth Games 2010.
The C.M. told that a sum of Rs. 4.5 crore has been distributed to prominent players so far.
