New Delhi: The Supreme Court will on Wednesday hear the Haryana Police’s plea against the Bombay High Court order for registration of an FIR against its team in the shootout case of gangster Sandeep Gadoli.
Gadoli, who was carrying a reward of Rs. 1.25 lakh, was killed in an encounter with the Gurgaon Crime unit on February 7.
A team of Gurgaon city crime branch had come in search of Gadoli, who was residing in a hotel in Mumbai’s Andheri East.
When the police team entered his room, there was cross firing between the accused and the police men.
Gadoli was admitted to a hospital where he succumbed to his injuries. Two policemen were also injured in the incident. (ANI)
