Gadkari asks BJP to keep its slate clean and fight graft

New Delhi, April 06: BJP President Nitin Gadkari today asked his party cadre not to indulge in any corrupt practices and take on the UPA government, charging it with failure in fighting corruption, price rise and bringing back Indian black money stashed abroad.

“Corruption, black money, inflation… the nation is being looted and the UPA government is responsible for it. All this is making a hole in our economy,” Gadkari said here addressing senior leaders and party workers on the occasion of the party’s foundation day.

At the same time, he cautioned that the BJP must be a party above corruption and should ensure that its own slate is clean so that people do not point fingers at it.
