Gaddar meets Rahul Gandhi, discusses various issues

Hyderabad: Revolutionary Telugu Poet and Dalit rights activist, Shri Gummadi Vittal Rao, more familiarly known as Gaddar met President of the Indian National Congress, Mr. Rahul Gandhi.

During the meeting, many issues were discussed including how to defend the Constitution.

Making it clear that he will not join any political party, Mr. Gaddar said he will act as a bridge among the secular parties. Mr. Gaddar, along with his son Mr. Surya Kiran and wife called on Mr. Rahul Gandhi.

Speaking to the media later, Mr. Gaddar said that Rahul Gandhi has assured him that he would order an inquiry into the attack on him. Mr. Rahul also assured that he would revive democracy in the State. Slamming caretaker Chief Minister Mr. K Chandrashekhar Rao, Gaddar alleged that the CM has not fulfilled even a single assurance. Alleging that feudal system was going on in the State, Gaddar said the BJP was transforming the nation into a jail.
