Police used rubber balls and tear gas shells to stop the Telangana agitators from going to Necklace Road to join Telangana March held yesterday.
History is the witness that police atrocities could not stop or weaken any movement.
Revolutionary poet Gaddar expressed these thoughts while addressing a rally of S.C., ST, BC and Muslim Front. Convenor of Muslim Front, Mr. Sanaullah Khan and the leaders of other organizations were also present on this occasion.
Mr. Gaddar said that this congregation of lakhs of Telangana people wants to communicate its sentiments to the Central Government to end its lethargy and to accelerate the formation of Telangana. Government declared the peaceful march of the Telangana activists as a conspiracy which is wrong. Despite giving permission to hold a meeting at Necklace Road, Police put hurdles on the roads by erecting the barricades which is deplorable. He appealed to the MP’s and MLA’s to tender their resignations to exert pressure on the Central Government.
