Gaddar dares govt to put him in jail

Hyderabad, November 28: Stating that he also underwent 40-day military training along with slain Maoist leader Kishanji alias Mallojula Koteswar Rao, Telangana Praja Front chairman and balladeer Gaddar on Sunday dared the State government to arrest him and put in jail. Gaddar came here and paid tributes to the body of Kishanji this morning.

Speaking to media persons, Gaddar said that the Governor, Mr E S L Narasimhan, was acting like a blood thirsty man eater. Asserting that Kishanji was gunned down by the police in a stage-managed encounter, Gaddar demanded that the State government order a judicial inquiry into the alleged encounter.

Alleging that the Trinamul Congress party’s Mamata Benarji government had captured power in the CPM bastion West Bengal with the active support of Maoist sympathisers, Gaddar said that Kishanji alias Mallojula Koteswara Rao was brutally killed by the State and Union governments in a pre-planned manner.

Calling upon the people of the Telangana region to get ready to wage an uncompromising struggle for separate Telangana State on the lines of Kishanji’s ideology, the Telangana Praja Front leader exuded confidence that the people of the region would achieve Telangana by following the footsteps of the late Maoist leader.

The balladeer has alleged that Kishanji was physically liquidated on the lines of the Centre’s attempts to suppress Telangana people’s agitation by implementing the Eighth Chapter of the Justice B N Srikrishna Committee. As part its fascist policy, the government ensured that the people of the region did not see Kishanji’s perforated body, he added.

According to the information, Kishanji’s body was brought to Peddapalli in the district in the early hours of Sunday. A large number of people from the surrounding villages were pouring into Peddapalli to have a last glimpse of the Maoist top leader. A large number of leaders, including civil liberties leader Vara Vara Rao, “Virasam” leader Chalasani Prasad, local MP G Vivekanand and others. The district police also deployed a huge police force to prevent any untoward incidents.
