Hyderabad, February 10: General body meeting of Zinda Dilan-e-Hyderabad was held on February 3, presided over by Padmashri Mujtaba Husain in which Mr. Ghulam Ahmed Noorani IRS retd. Deputy Commissioner customs and central excise and service tax has been appointed as the general secretary of the Zinda Dilan-e-Hyderabad.
It must be noted that Mr. Ghulam Ahmed Noorani has been associated with several social, cultural and literary organizations for a long time. He has been bestowed with prestigious awards a number of times. He had been the supervisor of customs department when the direct flight for Hajj was started from Hyderabad. He served Hyderabadi pilgrims a lot along with his team.
Mr. Noorani is also a good player of bridge and has bagged several gold medals during his civil service and all India revenue service. For several years he is managing the mushairas held by Shankarji memorial society.
