Hyderabad, December 24: Prime minister Manmohan Singh, UPA chairman Sonia Gandhi, Union home minister P Chidambaram, Governor Andhra pradesh, chief minister Kiran Kumar Reddy besides DGP Andhra Pradesh are the major obstacles in separate Telangana state formation.

Stating that the December 23, 2009 was a ‘Black Day’, Telangana People’s Front president and Balladeer Gaddar on Thursday demanded that the Centre introduce a separate Telangana Bill in Parliament in its Budget session.

Mr. Zaheer Uddin Ali Khan Managing editor Siasat daily, M Ved Kumar vice president TPF, Veera Reddy, Ratnamma, Sana Ullah Khan, Khwaja Moin Uddin MPJ, Saleem alHindi MPJ, Shahbaz Ali Khan Amjad convener old city JAC, Narsingh Rao, Jeevan Reddy and hundreds of pro Telangana leaders and activists were along with him on the occasion.

Gaddar pointed out that it was on December 23, 2009 that the Centre made its remarkable U-turn on the Telangana issue, after pro-integrationists built up pressure on the Centre not to proceed with the process of formation of a separate state.

The Balladeer reminded that Union Home Minister P Chidambaram had said on the day that wide-ranging consultations would be held on the Telangana state issue as a large number of parties are sharply divided on it, in contrast to the statement made on December 9, 2009 in which he had said that the process of formation of a separate state has begun.

Condemning the second statement, Gaddar demanded immediate introduction of separate Telangana bill in the budget session of Parliament and announce the formation of state.

In this regard, Gaddar and other leaders of TPF submitted a memorandum to Ranga Reddy district Collector Dana Kishore and Hyderabad Collector Natarajan Gulzar.

He also called for all elected representatives of all political parties from Telangana region to join hands and pressurize the government to introduce a Bill in Parliament for creation of separate State.

The balladeer also threatened the Centre of serious consequences if it fails to introduce T bill in Parliament.
