Andhra Pradesh government has released a budget of 41.34 lakh for Urdu Academy. This amount has been sanctioned under unplanned expenses of financial year 2014-15 from the budget of Urdu academy. The amount includes 38.10 lakhs for salary to staff while 3.24 lakh will be spent on other expenditures.
Commissioner Minority Welfare Andhra Pradesh is authorized to spend the amount. It must be noted that the process of division of Urdu Academy is not complete yet and the present academy is serving for both the states.
