(Siasat News) Bitterly criticizing the functioning of the Ministry of Minorities Welfare, INSAF organization condemned the refund of the unspect balance of Rs. 587 crore allocated to it for implementing the welfare programmes for Minorities. It only shows the inefficiency and lethargy of the Ministry. When the Ministry of Minorities Welfare fails to implement welfare schemes for Minorities, how can the Govt. of India expect Muslim votes in its favour.
The most tragic part is that the Govt. failed to implement the recommendations of the Sachar Committee. Leaders of INSAF organization Mr. Syed Aliuddin Ahmed, Mr. Mir Ahmed Ali, Mr. Mir Maqsood Ali and Mr. Syed Hameeduddin Mahmood said that by the review of the Parliamentary committee, it reveals that there are many lapses in the bureaucracy of Minorities Welfare Ministry which put hurdles in the utilization of funds. In this way the progress of the Muslims is hampered.
