New Delhi: Putting up a brave front after the Supreme Court interim order brought back President’s rule in Uttarakhand, Congress today said that it has full faith in the judiciary.
“We have full faith in the judiciary and Supreme Court.
Congress will be presenting facts in front of the Court that the Modi government had in an unconstitutional, illegal and arbitrary manner dismissed a democratically-elected government and imposed President’s rule,” party spokesman Ajoy Kumar told reporters.
At the outset, he said that the Supreme Court has taken five days to study all necessary documents relating to promulgation of President’s rule.
The apex court order gave a new turn to the continuing political drama in the hillstate by restoring the Central rule there.
