Full Budget after Lok Sabha polls: CM

Hyderabad: Leader of the House and Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao today said he has reasons for presenting the vote-on-account budget instead of full one in the Assembly on Friday.

While presenting the vote-on-account budget, the Chief Minister reasoned that the Centre presented the vote-on-account budget and the State has to get clarity on allocations to schemes, programs and other heads. Besides, the State which is new, was yet to get clarity on the revenues and expenditure, he said. “There was no plan and understanding on the economic development, State’s priorities and allocations to be made. Now keeping present conditions in view, the government has come up with a plan to develop the State for next five years through vote-on-account budget, he added. He also said the State government will present full budget with clarity after the Centre presents a full budget after Lok Sabha polls.
