AP Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu today said he has fulfilled the promise given to the farmers during elections by waiving of crop loans.
Naidu was addressing a group of women, who came from Prakasam district, at Lake View Guest House. They met the CM to express their gratitude for waiving off farmers and DWCRA loans. Naidu said Hyderabad revenue has increased due to the development during the previous TDP government. He also alleged that the united State was bifurcated to checkmate the TDP.
AP Transport Minister Siddaramaiah, Ongole MLA Damaracherla Janardhan and others were also present. Addressing the media at NTR trust bhavan, TDP leader Somireddy Chandramohan Reddy said the TDP government had allocated Rs 45,000 crores for waiving off farmers loans. It was a courageous decision of the party and no State government in the country has taken such a decision, he added.
Criticising YSR Congress president Y S Jaganmohan Reddy, Somireddy said it was unfortunate that the YSRCP has given a call to burn effigies of Chandrababu Naidu, who is relentlessly working for development of the State and welfare of the people.
