Fujiya: A so so restaurant

New Delhi, Aug.24 (ANI): Fujiya is located in one of the posh localities of New Delhi-Malcha Marg. It is one of the oldest Chinese and Japanese restaurants in Delhi, having commenced operations in 1969.

The restaurant has a very attractive menu that includes a good selection of vegetarian and non-vegetarian delicacies. The restaurant’s interiors have a good Chinese and Japanese feel to it.

Its management, however, has put too many tables which makes the place very congested and movement very difficult.

Coming to the food, the vegetarian fare is a mixed bag in terms of taste. The chili garlic noodles were quite spicy and lacked the usual good garlic flavor. The Chinese green vegetables in hot pepper sauce was very good and its gravy awesome. The Schezwan rice turned out to be a disappointment  because it was mixed with soya sauce.

The non-vegetarian fare included items like chicken pepper salt, which was a bit on the sweeter side, rather than being spicy. The Schezwan chicken as expected was spicy and good. The coffee was not good.

The pricing was on the higher side if looked at in terms of food quality.

The restaurant staff was impolite and very rude.

If I were you, I would think twice about going to this restaurant. The rest is all up to you.
