Bengaluru: Japanese Information and Communication Technology (ICT) major Fujitsu has launched its next third-generation PRIMERGY servers for business critical computing.
The rack optimised third generation PRIMERGY RX4770 M3 server enables digital transformation, provides superior performance and reliability to business-critical backend data centre services.
It is a four-socket x86 server equipped with Intel Xenon processor E7 v4 product family and superfast memory.
“It is ideally suited for complex, data-intensive workloads such as in-memory databases including SAP HANA and system-intensive tasks such as real-time business analytics,” Fujitsu said in a statement here.
According to the Japanese company, the new server can operate between five degrees Celsius to 40 degrees Celsius, offering 25 per cent energy savings. It also helps reduce CO2 emissions.
