Fueled by love: British Airways expresses their gratitude towards India

British Airways is delighted to share a heartwarming video titled ‘Fuelled by love’,which is about a crew member who fell in love with India and consequently,developed a bond with the country.

This campaign has been inspired by a real story. A young British flight attendant named Helena Flynn meets an old Indian woman on board on her maiden trip to India.

Helena develops a special bond with the lady and she invited Helena to her home in Hyderabad. After a long thought she visited the sweet Hyderabadi lady, shares a meal with her family. The pleasant encounter stays with her, which made her fall in love with India.

Helena said. “I’ve been flying to India for two years now, it’s a feeling I cannot describe. The more I discover, the more I fall in love.”

British Airways’ regional commercial manager inSouth Asia ,Moran Birger said, “India is British Airways’ second largest market outside the UK and after the US,” he added, “We are proud of our rich heritage of over 90 years in India and deep understanding of this wonderful country.”

Mr. Birger said about the heart-warming campaign that,” Through this film and the brand campaign, we want to
show the actual experiences of our cabin crew members serving customers on our India routes.”

The flim has been directed by Indian director Neeraj Ghaywan. The director of Masaan.
