Prices of petrol and diesel are likely to come down by Rs 2 in a day or two, according to information.
The Union government reportedly asked the oil companies to slash the fuel prices as raw material prices at international market have come down further. The oil companies are likely to take a final call on the slash of the prices followed by a meeting on Thursday. The reduced prices of petrol and diesel may come into effect from January 15 or 16, it is learnt. (NSS)
