FTII students gets support from Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal

Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal expressed solidarity with the protesters after a meeting at the Delhi Secretariat and offered to help them by providing temporary space in the national capital to run classes until the matter resolves.

“I am shocked to hear what’s going on at FTII. An internationally reputed institute is being systematically destroyed by govt’s wrong decisions,” Arvind Kejriwal tweeted.
He even offered to give space to establish a full fledged institute like FTII in Delhi if the Centre fails to met the expectations of the striking students. “If finally, central government doesn’t agree, we’ll convert this place into full fledged institute and students can continue studying here only,” Delhi CM wrote.
