Time has now paved for our fashion to be internationally-inspired.
Fashionistas are now looking to delve into the world of the famous Turkish drama ‘Dirilis: Ertugrul’. Young women, especially, are loving to imitate the look of Ertugrul female lead — Halima Sultana’s dress. The iconic dress is now being flooded across markets in Hyderabad.

“I am a big Ertugrul Fan, in fact, my entire family makes it a point to watch one episode per day after dinner every day. For my brother’s wedding, I was very sure of designing the same dress which Halima wore. Fortunately, I was able to get the dress here,” said Daneen Khan, who was buying her dress at Meenaz Collections, Pathergatti.
“The dress is in demand and moreover, we are getting orders to make similar ones as many have opted for it as the theme for weddings. In fact, we have ordered the same pattern for a bridal outfit, whose Nikah is probably at home,” said Zyra store owner at Abids.
The dresses are seen in almost every shop in Charminar, Abids, Sultan Bazaar, Koti, Begum Bazar, Tolichowki and many others. Even the well-known shops like Zooni, Kashish, Karishma and many are selling dresses of the same pattern.
