Nagpur: A class X student was killed by four youths for becoming friendly with a girl of their locality.
Roshan Dongle, resident of Gautam Nagar, Gaddigodam, a class X student was killed by Chandu Maske, Mithun, Sonu Sawarkar and Piyush Ghodeswar. Incident took place near the railway tracks at Gaddigodam area on Wednesday afternoon.
According to the police, Dongle was a good friend of a girl staying at Gautam Nagar. He used to chat and roam along with her. The accused was against of his friendship with the girl and had ever warned Dongle to stop meeting the girl.
However, Dongle did not stop meeting the girl. On Wednesday evening, Dongle had gone to meet the girl. Seeing this, accused surrounded Dongle who was sitting near the railway tracks and started quarrelling with him. When argument led to fight, one of the accused hit Dongle on his neck that caused him to collapse. Panicked accused rushed Dongle to nearby hospital where Dongle was declared dead by doctors.
Police registered accidental death as the accused misled the police. However, when police got the information about Dongle’s injuries which proves that he died due to the hit on his neck, police changed the charge to murder.
Police arrested Chandu Maske, Sonu Sawarkar and Piyush Ghodeswar while fourth accused, Maske’s brother, Mithun, is still absconding.
