Around 200 youngsters celebrated friendship day in the CMR-Central shopping malls, parks, five star hotels and several other gift shops in the port city today. The youngsters tied friendship bands and spread the message of love highlighting the importance of “one’s importance in other’s life.” According to radio mirchi event manager Uday the Radio mirchi organised cultural events on the eve of the Friendship day. Games and spot events were also organised by Radiomirchi 98.2 FM and gifts were distributed to all the winners.
This year the theme was “Making nature and all its components our friends” with special message “Trees are our friends and it is our duty to protect them.” UNI
