“I Focus” today organized Friendship Day celebrations in the name of “Maithri Varadhi” in Ravindra Bharathi here.
Participating in the celebrations, Telangana Assembly Speaker Madhusudhana Chary said, “The ultimate aim of knowledge should do good to the society. We should establish the society in which every person would respect another”.
Lok Satta national president Jayaprakash Narayan said friendship is in the gene of human beings and those who have no friends would face hurdles in life. All problems being faced by the people were minor and they can solve them themselves amicably, he said. He also felt that all have responsibility not to ruin the economic system.
To mark the friendship day, Telangana Para-Medical, Nursing Association was also prepared a ‘world longest friendship bond at People’s Plaza here. Telangana Deputy Chief Minister Dr Rajaiah has attended the programme as chief guest. The authorities of India Book of Record extended a certificate to the Association president Naresh for preparing longest friendship bond. (NSS)
