Mumbai, August 02: Indian actress Frieda Pinto is once again rejoicing the way her upcoming film Miral has been received by the critics. The French film is soon going to take part in the Venice Festival and will compete for the Golden Lion trophy.
After Slumdog Millionaire this is Frieda’s first film in which she is playing the title role Miral who is Palestinian orphan. The film is directed by the Oscar nominated director Julian Schnabel and is adaptation of the book of the Italo-Palestinian author Rula Jebreal.
There are around 22 films competing in the 68th edition of Venice Film Festival for the Golden Lion trophy.
The Venice festival will be held from 1st of September 11th.
