The French stock market benchmark index CAC 40 finished the trading day with an advance of 0.59 percent to close at 4,702.79, up 27.50 points.
Still boosted by the predictions that the US central bank Fed will not raise its basic interests in 2015, the CAC 40 of Paris closed higher on Friday with 25 of the 40 selected stocks gaining advance, Xinhua reported.
The top three gainers on Friday were Carrefour, up 6.60 percent, Veolia Environnement, up 2.43 percent, and Societe Generale, up 1.94 percent.
The three companies whose stocks dropped most on Friday were Kering, down 2.79 percent, Schneider Electric, down 2.26 percent, and Technip, down 2.05 percent.
EDF stayed the same as previous trading day.
In the previous trading day, the CAC 40 closed with an advance of 1.44 percent to close at 4,675.29, up 66.26 points.
