Paris [France]: Nine-time champion Rafael Nadal has powered into a record 10th French Open final on Friday and is all set to face 2015 winner Stan Wawrinka for the title.
Nadal achieved the feat after defeating sixth seed Dominic Thiem 6-3, 6-4, 6-0. Thiem, however, is the only player to defeat Nadal on clay this season.

Nadal is now bidding to become the first man to win 10 titles at a single Grand Slam.
Wawrinka will attempt to add to his 2014 Australian Open, ’15 French Open and ’16 U.S. Open crowns. He has become the oldest finalist in Paris in 44 years with a 6-7 (6/8), 6-3, 5-7, 7-6 (7/3), 6-1 win over Andy Murray. (ANI)
