New Delhi, Mar 26: Freight charges for the ten metric tonne pay load section for Bangalore and Mysore rose by Rs 500 in the local truck transport market today on pick up in cargo movements against tight availability of trucks.
Transporters said pick up in cargo movements in view of marriage season against less availability of trucks mainly led to rise in Bangalore and Mysore freight rates.
Freight rates from Delhi to Bangalore and Mysore rose by Rs 500 each to Rs 41,000 and Rs 43,000. Following are today”s rates for load of 10 per tonnes: Ahmedabad 12,000 Hyderabad 28,000 Mumbai 19,000 Vijaywada 31,000 Baroda 14,000 Chennai 40,000 Pune 20,000 Bangalore 41,000 Surat 16,000 Mysore 43,000 Kanpur 11,000 Pondicherry 40,000 Kolkata 23,000 Coimbatore 44,000 Ludhiana 10,000 Kochi 46,000 Chandigarh 9,000 Thiruvananthapuram 53,000 Jaipur 9,000 Goa 30,000 Indore 12,000 Gwalior 8,500 Patna 19,000 Guwahati 38,000.
