As part of the ongoing Hyderabad Arts Festival Season 4, a free workshop on Aero Modeling for kids is being organized at Little Sparks Global at Gachibowli on Saturday at 9 AM.
The entry for the same is free. Parents can register their kids for free on www.hyderabadartsfestival.com. It will be jointly organised by Hydourite Arts Festival and Little Sparks Global as part of the ongoing Season 4 of the Hyderabad Arts Festival .
This is an introductory workshop to the world of aero-modelling for students to explore the fun and joy of building things that fly.
Maj. Rajendra K Sonawane (Retd) will conduct the workshop. He is an experienced aero modeler and an internationally qualified UAV Pilot. He is retired first generation UAV Pilot of Indian Army and a first generation entrepreneur in the field of UAV.
Designing and fabricating a glider helps one understand the basic idea behind flight and the significance of various parts of the airplane. It helps the participant understand aerodynamics, controls and stability in the simplest manner. By slightly tweaking various parts of the glider, one can actually make it perform some interesting aerobatics which will help the participant understand the basic principles of flight.
This program is oganised as part of the “Hyderabad Arts Festival”, an annual city festival spread over three months to celebrate the spirit of Hyderabad. It is a non-ticked program, where people get to watch all the programs free of cost. However, they need to obtain a pass for the same.
