(Siasat News)There seems to be no symptom of setting right the matters in the Dept of Minorities Welfare. Despite inviting attention repeatedly, corrupt officials are being selected to shoulder the responsibilities of this Dept. Neglecting irregularities, an impression is given that nothing has happened. By this attitude of the Govt., it seems that it has given a free hand to irregularities in this department. The then Hajj counsel Mr. Mubarak had sent a written complaint is 2010 against the then Dy. Secretary, Mr. Mahmood Miyan who had visited Saudi Arabia in connection with selecting the buildings for accommodating the Hajj pilgrims.
While sending this complaint to Chief Secretary, Central Hajj Committee had desired to take action against Mr. Mahmood Miyan. No action was taken against Mr. Mahmood Miyan. He has been transferred as Joint Secretary and posted in the Dept. of Minorities Welfare.
In the G.O. Rt No. 3555 dt. 2-8-2012, Mr. Mahmood Miyan has been appointed in place of Ms. C Parveen Baig. She has been asked to report to General Administration Dept.
A.P. State Hajj Committee functions under the supervision of Dept of Minorities Welfare Mr. Mahmood Miyan are guilty of selection of accommodation as per the statement of central Hajj Committee.
It is learnt from reliable sources that Mr. Mahboobh Miyan has been successful in the selection of a diplomatic assignment also. He intends to spend a few months, in the Dept. of Minorities Welfare.
