Centre for Educational Development of Minorities (CEDM) Osmania University under the aegis of Minority Welfare department is implementing the educational development plans to boost up confidence among minorities which has borne fruits and more number of minority candidates are appearing for competitive exams compared to the past.
Prof S A Shukoor director CEDM Osmania University inaugurating free EDCET coaching programme at Nizam College told that CEDM is the only institution in the country where free coaching is provided to minority students apart from providing material.
He said ‘last year the pass percentage of EdCET was 91, while several candidates secured top ranks and got admission into good colleges.
