Deputy Commissioner of Police B. Sumathi, IPS, has said the North Zone, Secunderabad organised a skill/job Mela “Cheyutha” in December last with a view to impart, train in skills and provide employment to the aspiring and qualified youth and women of slums of North Zone as a part and parcel of Friendly Policing with the support of private companies, placement agencies, skill imparting agencies, NGOs, Telangana Private Udyogula Sangham, SETWIN, NAC.
As a part of Cheyutha, 7,000 unemployed youngsters/women belonging to different areas of North Zone especially from slums, mixed localities got registered online on website created exclusively for providing free skill/job as http://www.tscheyuthapolicejobmela.com 70+ companies/organisations attended mela with big names like ICICI foundation, Tech. Mahindra, ITC, Coromandel, IT Association of Telangana, HOPE Trust, NAC, Mahindra Pride, TMI, Campus Marg of India, G4 Security Services etc. and shortlisted 2636-candidates after conducted interviews and finally selected 1648 persons for jobs ranging pay package of 4.38 Lakhs to 1.2 Lakhs per annum.
Among the registered 7,000 unemployed registered on Cheyutha website who participated in job/skill mela, further filtration has been taken up to identify youth eligible to undergo free pre training for Police constable recruitment of Hyderabad, Telangana State. 1875 (1153 Male & 722 Female) are found eligible to join free coaching classes for Police Constable in the forthcoming recruitment of Hyderabad City Police. All such preliminary eligible unemployed youth who were part of Cheyutha job/skill mela in North Zone will be intimated through SMS. Soon after the receipt of this SMS, they are requested to fill their application form by logging in web address http://www.tscheyuthapolicejobmela.com (from 4th June to 8th June 2017)
Following this, eligible youngsters will be asked to attend the orientation in their respective Police Station limits of North Zone. The dates for attending orientation will again be informed by SMS/Voice Call. Further, shortlisted candidates as per the requirement & arrangements done by us will be offered free coaching (indoor & outdoor training) for the recruitment as Police Constable in Hyderabad City Police on free of cost. “We expect youth who are serious at effort, disciplined & who have clean record to apply and get offer for free coaching.
