Franklin Graham stuck to his jaundiced view of Islam

Washington, May 07: He was disappointed at missing National Day of Prayer ceremonies in Washington but stuck to his jaundiced view of Islam, Evangelist Franklin Graham said.

It was further reported that Graham fell out of favor with organizers of official observances at the Pentagon after some Muslim military personnel raised objections to statements he made in The Wall Street Journal calling Islam a “very evil and wicked religion.”

Graham, son of evangelist Billy Graham, made the rounds Thursday with appearances on Capitol Hill and outside the Pentagon.

Graham didn’t backtrack too much in his views of Islam. He told reporters he stuck to his belief that only Christians could attain salvation, the Washington Times said.

He also said, “I don’t accept this notion that all roads lead to God.”

Graham also chastised Islam for supposedly treating women in “horrid, horrid” fashion.

He further said, “I’ll stand up for women’s rights every day of the week.”
