Hyderabad, September 09: Four youths were today arrested on charges of sodomy in Chatrinaka area in Old City here, police said. Five youths in the age-group of 19-20, who reside in the same locality, allegedly molested the minor on several occasions in the last three months, they said.
Following a complaint by the victim”s mother, Chatrinaka police nabbed the four youths this morning and a hunt has been launched to arrest another absconding youth, an Investigating officer told PTI.
The youths have been identified as Sheikh Mohammed, Mohammed Masiuddin, Mohammed Javed, M A Nasir Khan and Nadeem, the police officer said adding that during questioning the four youths confessed to sexually abusing the 15-year-old boy, who is a student of tenth standard.
The boy”s mother noticed her son had been mentally disturbed in the past few days, but did not suspect that he was being sexually assaulted.
The boy”s mother got him consulted to a psychiatrist and he was under treatment, the police officer added. The minor boy has been referred for medical tests and the arrested youths were sent to judicial remand, he said.
