Davos: At the annual meeting of the World Economic Forum being held at Davos in Switzerland, four Indians have got the opportunity to speak. They come from varying fields of Urban governance, Social innovation, energy access and technology space.
These four Indians who have bagged the opportunity include Karanvir Singh from Indore, Dipika Prasad from Hyderabad, Jaideep Bansal from Chandigarh, and Kanika Kumar from Mumbai.
According to the news article reported in Economic Times, Kanika Kumar, an associate vice-president at Intellecap, also works for the mobilization of funds from various institutions to invest in social entrepreneurship ventures across Asia and Africa says that “We have invested nearly $350-400 million in 155 social entrepreneurs over the last decade or so and were raised from various high networth individuals and multinational corporations. Going forward, we plan to invest an additional $600 million in the next eight years,”
Kanika Kumar is also part of Mumbai hub of the global shapers. It is an initiative of the world economic forum.
