Sikar: A 25-year-old man was today arrested for allegedly raping a four-year-old minor girl in Garhtaknet village here, police said.
The accused, Hans Raj, raped the victim in a Dharamshala after luring her by offering to give her chocolates and later fled away from the spot after throwing the girl from premises wall, police said.
According to the police, the victim was returning home after attending classes at an Aanganwadi centre when the accused, victim’s neighbour, stopped her and lured her to the Dharamshala.
Locals alerted the police after they found the girl screaming in pain, who later despite being in critical condition, named the accused who was arrested.
The girl was rushed to a nearby hospital in Ajeetgarh from where she was referred to state capital owing to her critical medical condition.
