A four-year-old boy died after accidentally falling in a water sump in Mailardevpalli police limits.
According to police, the deceased, Mohd Naveed, was playing outside his home in Moghal Colony on Sunday afternoon. The family members grew suspicious when he remained missing for almost an hour. They started searching the boy in the neighbourhood and later found his body in the water sump of their neighbour Munawar Ali.
A case has been registered and further investigations are on, Sub-Inspector Mohd Akram Baba said. (INN)
