The Kachiguda Police have nabbed four vehicle lifters and recovered property worth Rs 11 lakhs from their possession.
According to the information, on June 24 at 6 pm, the police conducted vehicle checking at Barkhatpura and Nimboli Adda crossroads and took four persons into custody while they were moving suspiciously. When interrogated, they confessed that they committed theft of 10 two-wheelers and one Hyundai car under the limits of Kachiguda, Narayanaguda, Amberpet and Chandanagar police stations.
D Vishnu Prasad, 31, a worker in GHMC lifted two wheeler motorcycles and one Hyundai Getz Car, out of which five cases belong to Kachiguda police station, one in Amberpet PS and one in Narayanaguda P.S.
Syed Obed Hussain, 20, a painter by profession, committed theft of two-wheeler motorcycles — one in Kachiguda and another under Chandanagar Police station limits. M L Venkataramana, 25, a banana plant businessman and G Venkatesh, 26, car driver committed theft of two two-wheeler motorcycles under Kachiguda police limits.
The accused were produced before Nampally Court for judicial remand. (NSS)
