The Shamshabad Rural police on Tuesday remanded four students, who were held on the charges of snatching, to judicial remand.
The accused persons – Syed Younus, Md Mukaram, Khaleeluddin and Ibrahim Khaleel, were residents of Falaknuma. On May 3, they allegedly snatched Rs 10,000 cash and two mobile phones from an auto-rickshaw driver and a passenger in Shamshabad. The same day, they allegedly snatched Rs 5,000 and two cell phones from other victims in Pahadishareef police limits.
They were taken into custody on Monday evening and today they have been sent to judicial remand, according to Sub-Inspector Md Ahmed Pasha. (INN)
